inspiered by mike meddings country music poem ...

country

the mountains of Montana
a dying camp fire
and the memory of you

letters we wrote
drifting like the clouds
through my memory

our love long gone
as the green leaves
on the spring tree

now turned into gold
as autumn moves forward
telling of my love for you

still shining in the evening light

So sad, so soft... everything dying away--the fire, the year, the love... beautiful.
