Reflection

I'm looking out through a windowpane
watching a girl who stands alone
Her skin is striped by tears
and her lips forever closed

A dark shadow's lying on her face
and makes her looking grey
I'm stretching out my hand
and want to put her away

But the tops of my fingers just reach hers
so I look up and then I see
That the girl in the window who's looking so pale
is the misty reflection of me

HI!
You can put her away and bring out the shiney version. However, you cannot expect to master that important task alone.

A great way to begin the 2007!
Glad you got in down on paper - a good start.
