I have a new poem and this is the first page I'll share it with.
I hope you'll like it :)
(and you must listen well)
is a story of a man
and his hiccups, I should tell
I watched him while the hiccups,
each and every quite unique,
was arriving on his tongue,
they were escaping, so to speak
It happened on a station
with traintracks reaching far,
it was desember, it was snowing,
I could surely see a star
But that doesn't really matter,
what truly matters though,
was that this man, with the hiccups,
he was certainly in love
In hiccups he tried telling,
but it wouldn't work his way
cause noone took him seriously,
they didn't try to stay
This man in all his hiccups
and sorrows down the street,
he felt like life was worthless
and terribly un-sweet
But then it somehow happened,
I really have no clue,
but one girl at the station
knew exactly what to do
She said, "I want to help,
I've heard your hiccups come
and thought that I could fix it
with my icecreamcone from Rome"
The hiccup-man was smiling,
so suddenly at this,
he soon might stop his hiccups,
perhaps with just one kiss
He didn't tell his thoughts though,
but he did say "thank you" twice
and the young girl worked her wonders
creating paradise
The hiccups took vacation,
the man was free at last
and he and his young helper
talked of memories from the past
She said, she'd loved her childhood,
he said he'd had much fun
and they created stories
which has only just begun
And if you don't believe me
I'll share this funny fact,
the hiccups didn't come back,
but the ice cream stayed intact
"Do you want some?"
