My chiasmus or antimetabole

It's not the road that lead us to the destination,
it's the destination that lead us to the road.

This makes one want to read Robert Frost again and wonder of his choice of the road less traveled.

hmmmm. great thoughts. do we predict our destination and then make sure we get there by taking the correct road or do way take a road and let it lead us to a destination. In the best of times, we chose our destination and follow the right roads. In the worst of times we follow a road and let it lead us to an unknown destination. Or is it the other way around. I guess it depends of the travelers point of view. You sure do make my poor ole brain think Carmen. Thanks, I need the exercise. Now will you kick me in the bottom and make me exercise this body. I'd rather exercise my brain. : )
