co-write with Nepenthes.  : )  all this and a bag of chips ...
(no drugs were used in the making of this.)

eclectic epiphany

caught in a chasm of chaos
a single thought trudged through the din
a chasm of shadows held the empty thoughts
of the dying smile - ‘twas like a slice of
refreshing, exhilarating, invigorating
lemons, mangoes, and marsupials
marched in the Banana Banjo Band
a plethora of pilgrims parading
in the pursuit of the promised land

emerald ideas erected in the elements
no minions in the persevering darkness
salmon swimming upstream leaned over
bolder than they were before, looking
for circus tangos and stuffed animals
to simulate their suffocating science
while braving a bar of bursting starlings
which preyed upon a wonderful lute
pursuing comedy as a dromedary

capers pickled in sea brine swaggered
toward the edge of the universe
while the beleaguered barn owl hooted
and "danced by the light of the moon"
in the arms of a calico feral feline filly
wearing pearls and swirls of taffeta
under the star spangled sky, oh my,
and purple crayons waxed and waned
along the ocean's periwinkle floor

dings on the question mark darts
that's so cool ... let's steam some mussels
no fussing just cussing with careful old boots
changing sounds that tempted me downtown
amongst the believers of ... ? things
upon an perplexed stage colourful i thought
about visions and incisions that imprisoned
jimi and his last minute appearances

upon max yasgur's farm, ...

, ... just off that sixty-six highway

whatever the truth of this write
be you loose or be you tight

Emerging from the glorious profusion/confusion of images, I like especially "a plethora of pilgrims parading
in the pursuit of the promised land."
