False Hope

Stealing all my dreams
And replacing them with nightmares
Taking away all the pieces of me
Replacing them with imposters
Watch me now it's a noticeable change
Love manifesting itself into hate
As always just turn away
It must be hard to watch my smile fade
I won't name you
Some things are better left unsaid
I won't blame you
Some fingers are better left unpointed
But it isn't hard to find
It's written all over my face
Because of you I'm not of sound mind
In fact I've gone quite insane
My thoughts are nowhere near rational
You do not want inside my head
You should trust me when I tell you
My blind anger does not see you as a friend
I had hoped that you would save me
I now know that hope was false
You never once reached out to catch me
All you ever did was let me fall
