My Intelligent, Handsome Son

Overwhelmed with deep emotions, I can see that it's true;
I really can see the best of me in you,
My heart swells with pride and my eyes tears of joy,
As I look at you, my intelligent, handsome boy.

How fast time goes by,
In a blink of an eye.
Where had the time gone?
And how much you've grown.
I painfully admit,
I feel sad with regret,
For just noticing it.

I guess you're not so little anymore.

Had it really been that long?
As reality hits, my regret start to rise,
I suddenly start to realize,
Just how much I've lost,
And what it has cost.

As I look at my son and all he's become;
My intelligent, handsome son.
What's done is done,
I can't change the past,
I wish I could some how get it all back.

All I can do is hope and prey,
That you will forgive me someday.
Always remember that I'm proud of you son,
And of the young man that you've become.

All my enduring love for you....My intelligent, handsome son.

Love, MOM

It is great!, you know it also makes me feel sad because i'd really like my mom saying the same words to me, but i know it won't be a dream come true. Your poem seems to be so sincere and from the bottom of your heart.

really thanx 4 sharing this with us.

Love;

This poem is so sweet, there is no love like motherly love, and through this poem you revealed your devotion of being a mother and that you love to be one... You're not only a great mother but also a poet
