Hiding The Ugliness

I see you talking to them.
Low shirts,
To hide their demon wings.
And tight jeans,
To hide their hooves and talons.
I can't do anything but shake my head,
And know that they will never be good enough for you.
I see you talking to them,
And pray you know better.
I see you talking to them,
And want it to stop.
I know it'll lead to your heart break,
And me not being able to stop it.
I see their transparent hooves and demon wings.
You seem to look right past them.
I pray that one day,
You will come to realize what they really are.

And your wisdom grows with each write. You are being filled with it, and it flows from you.
