A cracker is a dry, thin, crispy, and savory biscuit

I never have liked crackers :)
here's my contribution:

Try and hack Hackers if you dare,
the muse of my pen gets inspired anywhere.....
Regulations of your dictations will never succeed,
Firewall blocks stopping your evil dees.....
*"For what is a poet without his poetry?"
So throw everything you've got Hackers, because you can't stop me.....
I will continue to write, despite your objections.....
Poetry is the root cause of all my obsessions.

* The quote is by Thomas Perdue.....
it is from his poem "The Poet".

Rockets red glare

Boom!

Rob Taylor
I sit at my console
The glow of red shines around me
My words flow on the screen
Changed
Changed by a P'tak
My ridges rise
The warrior blood within me boils
My hand reaches for my bat'leth
I see my dagger piercing his dishonorable heart
I scan the region
Nothing for several parsecs
He has to be there, hiding, cowering
He has angered a Klingon
That can only mean his death.
My console shows one and zeroes
Poetry to my consort and my desire to bleed for her
Gone
Sent into nothingness.
I find the villain
The virus he sent to destroy my love
Such an unworthy opponent
Not worth tarnishing the steel of a blade
I find the virus
Twist it, bend it to my will
I send it back to him
A gift from an honored warrior
Within moments he will know my wrath
He will see his computer
Fading dying
Communications
Engineering
Transport
All gone
Finally his air
He turns blue, lungs gasping for another breath
His very life being taken from him
A small virus, nothing more than he sent
Suffering
Painful revenge
Hios soul will not be allowed in Sto-vo-kor
He is, was, not an honored spirit

Christian Lanciai The PoetBay support member heart!
Supreme stupidity and vanity,
outrageous folly and pathetic miserable lunacy,
you future monster, how can you get such an idea
to even dare to challenge poetry,
more holy than the gods,
the very incarnation of longevity,
the sacred word more sacred than the Bible
that invented it; this is ridiculous.
You just can't challenge poetry in any way,
not even hypothetically;
for a poet, like for instance Dante
or the poet behind Shakespeare
must remain alive for ever,
while you can never harm in any way
a single word that ever was poetically written.

And even if you would succeed in such an enterprise
of a preposterous deletion of all files,
you can not kill the dreams,
that will continue spreading poetry forever.
