A Truth That You Despise!

There's a truth that you despise,
in the midst of all your lies,
in the corner of your eyes,
in the shape of a disguise.

You can't see through your lie,
truth isn't part of your sky,
you're all about deny,
the easiest way to die.

In the midst of all your lies,
in the corner of your eyes,
in the shape of a disguise
there's a truth that you despise.

Sometimes I wish you'd cry,
or at least ask me why,
so we could give it another try
and wouldn't have to say goodbye.

My bad! I now see stanza 3 is no mere repeat of stanza 1, but an artful rearrangement. Good job! Sorry about that...

I really lilke your repeated stanza--the main element of your poem. The meter seems rough in stanzas 2 and 4 though. Good poem!
