'tremble like a flower'
David Bowie from "Let's Dance'
a crimson crocus
flourishes constellations of ink
across the ivory horizons of your skin,
famished traveler thirsts for the image of a mirage
problematical cities materialize upon an athenaeum brow
high&smooth with nautical plottings, fathoms reaching through your arms
a little focus
in and out of lens until the entire field is revealed
or is it not as it would seem to appear out of this world how far to touch
your cupid mouth your poisonous kiss your viper's tongue your siren hips,
call from the rocks that heave and split from stern to stem to seed a garden green
so bury me within this plot, a character composed of synthesis and unfulfilled need
a crimson crocus
red as your lips
your siren hips
a little focus
reads in and out
high&smooth
