as the world spins

bye bye sweetness
some years are gone
and still you shine

but now I have to leave
as time seems to cry
for me to seek its way out

touching sorrow as I slowly die
but that is how we find new tomorrows
so as the sun sets in the west
I will be off into the oblivion of you

and all the rest a mystery to me
but baby I will sure miss you

so in the wodden words
let's carve our names
and that way we will not be lost

some sweet day
we will probably meet again
as the world spins on a highway never ending
