BURIED BURDENS
Underneath several layers of dirt
and a lonely sorrow in between
lies a burden, cruel and mean.
Inside the urn ashes of memories
that haunts me, the eerie.
I cannot see clearly.
Yes, you are buried,
but the burden still remains.
It travels through my veins.
Please, give me a sign.
Let me know that you forgive,
and that you allow me to live.
And I'll forgive you,
the most precious of all pains.
You are the burden that still remains.
