Frost Bitten Melody
Cry a tear on my shoulder and melt the ice that lay upon your surfaceTry to tear holes in your fabric as your mind directs its purpose
It was meant for me to drink and be nourished
It was meant to flourish and drip into dirts mouth, and with its single drop sprout anew
Just like you, each time you come out of your coma
Ill lie face down without any rest holding my ears slightly against your chest
Awaiting your awakening...absorbing your aroma
It seeps in me and sleeps with me on cold nights without you
Reminders with blinders that show me what is pure and true
Although recessive and repressive thoughts sneak through
I catch them in my peripheral...even if, I miss you still and wish you will come back to me from the dark
Ill rub my heart furiously and create a spark
Follow it and let it lead you from your frost bitten melody
As the icy sounds crash to the ground and melt on me
Meld with me and see the amorphous figure we've become before we move apart and are no longer one
Embrace the taste for as long as it lasts or until it is done
...requiem...
