beside us

and the time we bought
the room we decorated
closing hurt inside

footsteps surronding
our words insecure
fear a feeling we nourish

so I seek the coulor of you
remembering days in awe
of love resting beside us

this has a sadness about it. Its like a love that really was never nutured and then died because of lack of attention. It had possiblitities but they never were explored because of fear. Deeply moving.

A beautiful piece inspired by a colorful memory fading quickly to black and white, then gone forever (at least in my mind). It almost feels like a set of haiku. Good piece.
