My husband has loved me for 35 years and I still don't know why. I am just grateful. And I love him back so very much. This is my Valentine poem to him.

From Where Does Such Love come

From where does such love come
that a man like you could give
so much of yourself to me
and ask nothing in return

I wonder at your gentleness
I am in awe of your strength
I cannot understand how you
could bother with one like me

You see my tears before they fall
You feel my heart as it aches
You know my moods when I don't
And you love me just the same

I do nothing to deserve this love
But you tell me I deserve more
It cannot possible be that way
But you look at me in belief

I am not a great poet
so I cannot tell you
in words of beauty
just how much I love you

I can only say you are to me
a man of many joys
And tell you I will love you more
each day God lets me live

And when I am gone
from this earth
My love for you will be so large
It cannot possibly die

It will go on until the end
Of all life everywhere
And when that happens
My love will linger in the heavens

Phyllis this is one of the most beautiful loves I have ever witnessed besides our parents. God blessed you both when He brought you two together. I am grateful for all the love you both share with one another and for the love that you so generously and graciously share with others. This is a beautiful poem written by my beautiful sister, you!
