I believe a SPIRITUAL BATTLE is coming, actually is already being fought, for the soul of this world. Don't be caught unprepare.

A Great War Is Coming

A great war is coming
between right and wrong
Satan is drumming
out his hateful song
He's calling his minions,
to gather round his throne
They'll share his bloody communion,
and make his plan known
Out from hell they fly,
carrying death in their claws
They screech and they cry,
spitting curses from their jaws
Their assignments are clear,
to the weak they will fly
To those who live with fear,
to whom truth is a lie
Easy prey for evil,
they will not recognize
The devil as an angel,
and will belive all his lies
Next will come the proud,
those who believe in themselves alone,
no God do they need,
no reason to atone
They will be brought down,
from their perches high
like fools dressed as clowns,
they'll hang their heads and cry
At last the Devil's legions
will attack the believers
And there meet the Regents
who know the deceivers
The angels of Heaven
will stand in battle dress
Their number is seven,
they will bring God's test
Upon the earth will be plagues
and Babylon will fall
Satan where are your legs?
You are finished that is all
Christ is decending and your time is up
This is evil's ending
Now comes the eternal cup
Which caught the blood of Christ
as they raised him up
Those who drank
of Jesus' life giving sacrifice
Will live with with him forever in Paradise

An intelligent person has written this and shared her beliefs as I believe anyone is entitled to. I get rather weary of those who want to appear to be accepting of all but are the first on the line to point fingers as practicing Christians. I am not only your sister but am your sister in Christ who I believe is my Savior and will stand beside you and congratulate on this wonderfully written poem. It is full of imagery and deeply expressed emotions. Well done Phyllis

I am an ex christian and an atheist.
I am proud of having left behind me a life full of obsessive compulsivity, reconquering a normal life.
I believe in reason, and reason is what leads me naturally to exert kindness and solidarity towards my fellow human beings. It also leads me to apologize when I see that I've done wrong.
I tolerate others' beliefs, even when I do not share them, as long as their beliefs and the acts inspired by those beliefs don't damage or offend other people. And I expect others to do the same towards me.

Now, I wonder who you are referring to as
" the proud,
those who believe in themselves alone,
no God do they need,
no reason to atone
They will be brought down,
from their perches high
like fools dressed as clowns".
