For my first year of life, though not my parents' fault, I did not sleep but cried hysterically every night. I wish I knew why because our year-old daughter is doing the same thing Now! No one knows why. Is it a sleeping disorder? Acid reflux? Nightmares? Lactose intolerance? A yearning for life on the West Coast?
A Pet Peeve : British English speakers correcting my American spelling, e.g., here it's spelled 'labor' not 'labour'. If you insist on correcting my spelling, I will have no choice but to virtually flambeau your anal-retentive hide at a secret (or rather highly public) Internet URL.

A short bio
After a particularly long gestation and delivery (mom says she was in labor 24 hours with me), I was born in Philadelphia in the year of the Buddha 1966.For my first year of life, though not my parents' fault, I did not sleep but cried hysterically every night. I wish I knew why because our year-old daughter is doing the same thing Now! No one knows why. Is it a sleeping disorder? Acid reflux? Nightmares? Lactose intolerance? A yearning for life on the West Coast?
