The Cat: Death In Seconds~

Your life was cut very short
I can't believe they passed
You ran in the road to escape the dog
But the car was way too fast
Whoever thought while playing that night
Your next breath would be you last.

It's funny how I cared so much
I didn't even know you
You were just lying in the road
And I didn't know what to do
I felt you needed a proper sendoff
So I did the only thing I knew.

I threw you in the river
It was hard to bear
I hoped that you'd find peace
I felt it was only fair
To find a spirit such as yours
Is something very rare.
