one of my crappy text from my "high-hat series of poetry"

Abusers of Tellus

Can we watch ourselves fall?
Into selfish murderers
Can we stand tall and proud
As we plough the distant shores

This is what we have become
Abusers of Tellus
These hands we try to wash
Is covered in foreign mud

Do we know our own flag?
As we burn yours
Can we ever raise it?
Proudly again to the skies

Do we really understand?
That responsibility is needed
As we murder to plough
What we yet have not seen

This is what we have become
Abusers of Tellus
And our filthy hands we use
Trying to mend your wounds

night soul woman The PoetBay support member heart!
Indeed. . . We abuse mother nature every day. . .And abuse our free will to do so. . . A sad fact of human's atrocity indeed. . . And if that it's not enough we dare to claim parts of mother earth as our own and most of the times we kill each other in order to gain this right. . . appalling but sadly the truth. . . When are we going to learn?
Thought provoking poem my friend. . . Well written!
