in the wait
words naked
me in the unknown
of a night
you in the wait
holding answers
the light darkened
along the way we walk
willow trees
and we lay down
on a earthen bed
and I ask you to
keep me safe
in case I hesitate
me covering your need
for tender words
so we walk in time
lost but found
in our eyes
