The Crow And The Shadow

Now worry has turned into knots of pain.
Nothing to lose, nothing to gain.
I'm watching this day as it turns to rain.
And then the darkness enters again.

Body and mind, inseparable two.
Your thoughts can be your rescue.
But it's hard to alter, to renew,
when it's all you ever knew.

The stomach pain was always there.
Now it's turned into shadow despair.
The tumour grows and it's not fair.
Please wake me from this nightmare.

An advice from the tomb, let it go,
all the memories of sorrow.
Otherwise you'll end up in this row.
The crow waits in the shadow.

It is true DB that held in despair cause illness, that is why it is such a good thing to be a poet and be able to express the badness from our lives imo. The crow is an omen of death, van gogh used it, so did my dearly departed in his last great piece. Make that crow wait, I know just how hard it is to turn the tables on despair, all we can do is our best, in each and every day. I like the title and the poem is a real thought provoker. Smiling at you from sunny Cornwall, Tai
