This one is the second installment of "Love Letter From Me" (I am making a collection of my own love poems...>> girlfriend thing... some of you guys will understand what I mean there haha. Anyway, I'm iffy about this one but I have gotten only good com
They were never meant for harming.
Through dampened tenderness I see.
You were the angel that's been looking for me.
I could save your light,
don't drop your halo at the fight.
Strength and comfort, only words you give to me.
Angel of mercy acting a friend to me.
And I tell you, I could save a life.
Only you know, I could make it right.
Go on and lose your halo in the night.
Do not worry what they'll all say.
Close your eyes if you can't find the words to say.
Close your eyes if it all gets too bright.
The moment lost will regrets come more your way?
Innocence lost, but would you need to pray?
Hold my hand, understand.
Your guilty pleasure's not in vain.
To take a light, like this, you must be insane.
Tomorrow looks to be quite beautiful,
but today seems full of rain.
Although the storm is over now,
you say you can still feel all the pain.
A second lost at times oiled hands.
Left all but a woman and a man.
I could save the light. (I tell you)
Come on, I can make this right.
I tell you I can save the night.
Don't go running off from me,
when you know I'm the one you need tonight.
Hush my angel, there's no need for us to fight.
You and I could silence the sun,
if ever we needed just another night.
