Shattered Mirror
My only wish, is to see the world at peacePeople living in friendship, without sadness or grief
Why must it be this way, why must we live in rage
You and I are humans, there must be another way
Our only truth, is the outer reality
War is on the subject, to be the top of the hierarchy
Equality is not mentioned, only the richest will survive
If that remains forever, what is then the value of life?
All alone with the hope in my mind
With the will to find, a peaceful line
For many centuries we have been fighting
Since that our world got divided
As shattered mirror
My true believe, is if god had made the world
Shouldn't men and women play like if they were boys and girls?
You can't live alone, love can't be prevented
In poverty or the highest throne, we were meant to be connected
Am I the only one to see that we've went to far
Left the mother earth behind and made her a big scar
What about the future, will I ever get to see
Humanity in harmony, when everyone are free
Time is on the sad peace less line
No more hope to find, instead of mine
While politicians claim the world as their own
And our nations got divided
As shattered mirror
As the days go by with the war and cry
I keep thinking to myself if I should stay alive
Pain and hate that causes to bother
Keep us distant from accepting each other
But the sun will shine in disturbing thoughts
Just to indicate that we still have a heart
Let go of all the anger and suffer
Because the darkness has nothing really good to offer
I don't need no gods to guide me
I already see the truth beneath
Religion ripped humanity from the source
Now my brothers got divided
As shattered mirror
