Cry A River

Cry me a river so I can drown my
sorrows of loneliness.
Build me a bridge so I can swim in my fears.
I know where you were last night.
Did you like the feel of her tenderness?

The sea weeps of your cries I hear within the
night.
The moon howls on this night for she is in
your arms.
Did you like when she said I love you upon
this darkest of night?

I am on bended knees weeping for your words I
long to hear.
Did her kiss taste of strawberrie delite?
Was her warmth better than mine could be?

Kissing you within my dreams I dream.
Come to me and I could love you better than she did
last night.
Mother of pearls I gave the heavens and return I wanted
what was rightfully mine.

Did you give her your manly gift?
Did she except it with pride?
Did she fall within the site of knowing you were
mine from the start?

I will not beg within my heart for you have known
my tears that flowed with the sea.
I will give myself to the river of lovers.
I will go beyond and below where I know I
shall follow the water of my sacred love.

The stars followed the moons light and gave
within her blood, before the water took her soul.
No tears, no sorrows just before her life was over
he came and gave her the ring of his undying love.
