Progress

Little child, so pure and innocent
Growing up in sorrow in a never ending ring
Tears you cry, blinded in denial
By those people above you because you are still a child

Why do you have to be
In this misery, where you cannot see
You have seen the best, from the darkness
In your progress

Hear me child, you so young and wild
Searching for the truth to just reveal your lies
Don't know what to do, or where you wanna go
Looking for replacement to heal your broken soul

Why do you have to be
In this misery, where you cannot see
You have been possessed, from the Darkness
In your progress

Hey there adult, why don't you listen to me
I'm tired of your rules, I would just rather be free
Why don't you let me live the life you never had
Now I'm in your sorrow by following your life path

Why do I have to be
In confusion stream, or a past life dream
And you have called the best, of your darkness
In my progress
