Those Things You Do
Your laughter delights me
and that loose hair
upon your forehead invites me
to love you even more.
Here let me run my fingers through your hair.
There, isn't that better?
O, your sweet love letters
all scented with spice. I find it so nice
to hide them in my pillow
and dream of lying under a willow
tree sharing chablis. The thought thrills me.
And, Darling do you know,
that when you read, your mouth
moves just so.
O, the glow from your smile
reaches to me across thousands of miles
lighting up my day
in just the perfect way of saying
you love me too.
Those little things you do
are the reason why
I love you.
