Small Seedling Soul

Child ~
small seedling soul,

I just want to pluck
you from this famished soil
and plant you in my womb.

this made me think of protecting the young, being doting and caring for the child as though our own... famished soil makes me think that the circumstances aren't as good as they should be for this child... the need to be there is what i feel in these words... small seedling soul is gentle imagery in my mind... very beautiful... wonderful, as always *bow* ;) :) *hugs* xx

Lavender
A poem with the spark of life! I like it very much and like the nurturing sound of it.

Individuality
makes me think of extremes - while in the womb we are warm and comfortable and as soon as we emerge we are looking for a place to replace the womb. also made me think of third world children with the famished soil. the spirit inside too. we are all children no matter what age we reach, though sometimes i feel like i am forever i also act and feel like a kid, fun is a good thing to hold.
