Surrendering

Time proved me a servant of my heart,
Emotions betrayed my meticulous mind,
Dreams watered my ever blossoming love,
Like wind, blew my yacht of love ashore.
My heart desired to find its love,
My mind feared for my life.
My heart swore to make it work,
My mind feared for my life.

The heart influenced every piece of me,
The mind dreamt about my love.
