hmmmmm....let's see what else could i possibly be doing with my life?

Kitchen Capers and The Life Stories of Dinnerfare

Cornbread's life was crumbling
and Milk's was getting sour
Butter's life was melting
separating by the hour
Glass' life was empty
Spoon's was nothing without Bowl
Fork's life was rigid
stuck in a rut of woe
Knife was dulled and lonely
Plate's was cracked and worn
Napkin's life was tattered
tossed, trashed, and torn
All this may sound silly
and really such a waste of time
As I sit and wait for dinner
while writing little rhymes

Okay, I've stopped laughing enough to say, this goes in your book! (and mine, I've bookmarked) This is written by that little imp that pretty much ruled you as a child. The little sister imp that tormented me those many years ago and prompted me to devise ways to get even. What a brain you have! It can write anything and write it wonderfully.
