Cute little thing.

O Wondrous Fate

A sweet shy smile
Reciprocates
A gentle touch
Resounds
Stroke of fingers
Echoes over
A joyous laugh
Rebounds
O wondrous fate
Chose someone new
And locked the eyes
Of these happy two

this is an interesting write for me... first i'll say it's well-written because even though the perspective is ambiguous for me, i'm left satisfied as the reader with what i felt from it, either way... when i read this i say ambiguous because for me i could see two possible perspectives that could be applied to what's expressed here... because of the choice of word, the interpretations in my mind divided into two perspectives that i found worked quite well, whichever one...

"A sweet shy smile

A joyous laugh
Rebounds
O wondrous fate
Chose someone new
And locked the eyes
Of these happy two"

1st perspective:
i see it very positive... saying fate finally chose the two meet now... a beautiful beginning of a love... obviously deep since fate is usually symbolized as something powerful... so this is how i interpret it in this perspective... i think it is well written, you say cute, but i say expresses great joy... the happiness of love, really... leaves the heart in smiles... :)

2nd perspective:
in the negative it could work as well for me because of this: "O wondrous fate, Chose someone new..." - in my mind i could see it as meaning O wondrous fate - a bit oh woe me in tone, theatrical but unenthusiastic tone saying o wondrous fate, a bit sarcastically maybe... chose someone new in that context can be like the person is so very much in love with this wonderful woman he met... if you take the text in the context that the two were once together, and in his sorrow the guy was reminiscing on their beginnings and how he misses her so now... why the past... well, i dont know... chose someone new... could be he lost all his chances to be back with her... a pessimist's perspective... cause using wondrous fate sarcastically in the context that i could see as a possible perspective, could imply the person felt life was always not on their side... fate as though written in their skies that nothing good would come their way... so chose someone new instead of the man who's left like this... someone else came to grace her world... hm... far-fetched? sorry... :)

really enjoyed anyway... got my mind going... by the way i dont always comment this way... just this really struck my imagination... thanks... excellent to read :f xx
