Sweet Dreamland
In depths I fly, awake, I fall in himAnd dance on lines and linen's soft embrace,
Into his dreams and sighs, as night goes dim.
I feel his light, he fills my passion's whim --
My dreamland smiles I cast upon his face
In depths I fly, awake, I fall in him.
We dive through deep affections, there we swim
And hold each other near, I send my grace
Into his dreams and sighs, as night goes dim.
His love will grip me now where once I'd skim
And give me wings of thought that I can trace
In depths I fly, awake, I fall in him.
Upon his head, a pillow, sweet, I trim
With all my love, my fears and pain erase
Into his dreams and sighs, as night goes dim.
Here, in my dreams, I find the tallest limb
To skip across, then soar through empty space
In depths I fly, awake, I fall in him,
Into his dreams and sighs, as night goes dim.
