Ivy

Ivy ambles up trees,
Instilling beauty's face --
Infusions in the shade,
Idle breezes brush cheeks,
Ideal visions -- violet
Illuminates like rays,
Island paths to the soul.

So fine!!! Aye, I see the form and enjoy reading and writing these! A happy choice for writing nature poems, especially!

this is really neat... first thing that caught me when i was done reading is how the fact the poem's lines all start with the letter I, gave the effect of a climbing vine, really... something about the vine that just emanates freedom for me when i look and contemplate on them during the summer... they are beautiful... your text captured that feeling for me... :) *hugs* xx
