from towers

in a golden sky
your name engraved
and the sand so strong

desert heat as praires are sung
from towers of gold and blue

signs in your eyes
and years pass
never forgotten
still make me cry

a dance in the night
of silken black

no more to be
as we would never
part again

in a golden sky
your name engraved
and we speak of love

This is but one in a fine series of your most recent poems of love, loss, longing and renewal. It is hard to pick this one from the others but I find the line here, "a dance in the night of silken black", magnificent. A great series of poems.
