Spring gives wing to my Poesy... lol!
Wings of Poesy
Give me meadows full of green grassMountains peaked with virgin snow
Trees bursting in flowering bloom
The sky cobalt with fluffy clouds
The Sun rising regal in East
Sunset orange-yellow in feast
Rivers frolicking azure with froth
The waves gently kissing my feet
Birds chirruping in cacophony
Of the pre-dawn ecstasy
Pleasant breeze lifting my locks
Fragrant Lilly-of-the-valley
A quaint log cabin in the woods
A window opening with a view...
And in this soulful solitude:
See my imagination unfold
Thoughts on the wings of joy soar
Heart full of ecstasy-
Compose a lilting melody...
Words of sorrow and agony,
Of anguish and ecstasy,
Blend together to create
A kaleidoscope of poesy...
Give me the world, and then see!
