His Smile Slides Down Ribbons

His smile slides down ribbons
That dance within her hair,
She feels a sudden pulling of
Her heart -- he does ensnare.

He pins a corsage to her soul
With flower blooms that swirl,
Fastened there forever more,
The petals will not curl.

She saves a man from wandering
Throughout his life alone,
She adorns his heart and soul,
Her love gives him a throne.
