life goes on...and on...and on...
Between the Breaths
between the breaths
come certain deaths
of what is here and now
the past is gone
no more to carry on
in rows what once were plowed
inside the sleep
that often keeps
a door between the two
lies time no more
along dark shores
of tomorrows' oceans blue
within the halls
of silent walls
new birth awaits dawning
a baby's breath
inhales all death
sweet hope flows in its yawning
