life goes on...and on...and on...

Between the Breaths

between the breaths
come certain deaths
of what is here and now
the past is gone
no more to carry on
in rows what once were plowed

inside the sleep
that often keeps
a door between the two
lies time no more
along dark shores
of tomorrows' oceans blue

within the halls
of silent walls
new birth awaits dawning
a baby's breath
inhales all death
sweet hope flows in its yawning

Death is a leveller,

the life in between death..
incidents in our life sometime feels like death..
we have to live with al those deaths..
It is really a good allegory for life..
I enjoyed...

loved the loving feeling that carried me through the beautiful words you've written... the passing on of life to other generations is what i interpret... an incomparable feeling from how you describe it... i enjoyed this poem a great deal... the only word i can say is beauty... *hugs* xx

The couplets starting the stanzas are especially effective for me; great job!
