Peanut Butter Confessions
Peanut butter confessions
Written in late night sessions
Of creamy, crunchy swirls
Devilish delights keep me up
Some nights eating
Goobers
And grapes
While trying to
Escape
From boredom.
This consortium
Of concoctions
Peanutbutterific
Confections
Languish upon my tongue
I am undone
A banana if you please
An apple to appease
My cravings
For a blanket of P-butter
Most surely covers
Those carrots and celery friends
The combination never ends
And chocolate dipped
In peanut butter's grip
Is heaven to these lips
Of mine
Simply Divine
In the womb of a pie
Peanut butter lies
Between the thighs
Of crust and meringue
I will surely gain
A pound or two and maybe more
Perhaps four
As I feast until I drop
Never wanting to stop
This frenzy of my passion
This is my confession
In this therapeutic session
Of peanut butter
Desires
