a love story
The Englishman and The Rose
The mountains echo the songs
That play between the trees
Floating upon the clouds
In a sweet melodious breeze
The birds sing a harmony
A chorus if you please
Filling the air with music
That travels across the sea
The ocean swells with joy
And adds the rhythmic sound
The crashing of the waves
Just like a percussionist pounds
The heartbeats of their longing
Expressed in nature's voice
All living things united
Excited by love rejoice
For they have found each other
Two lost and lonely souls
An Englishman and his special
Adoring Albany rose.
