a poem that came from a title inspired by Cindymac. We discuss some things we have in common and often poetry comes from those times of sharing. This is dedicated to her and our friendship.

Raging Waters

turbulent swells in vortex wells
spinning cyclone of death
violent dance of happenstance
inside the walls of sorrow
angry storm relentless harm
a hurricane of heartache
whirl of fears in drops of tears
the rain of raging waters
hopelessness a torrent mess
of pain inside the flood
broken dreams, sadness seems
the darkness of all tomorrows

Nice how the many internal rhymes create a swirling effect!

Excellent writing here...which really reminds me that I do have a lot of work to do learning synonyms and more rhymes in english.

This poem brings out a picture of despair, and anger.... very well written indeed.
