As I think.
Lonely, as I speak,
Alone, as I think.
Righteous states
As it debates –
That man can do,
What path he may choose.
Set back
And I can’t hack,
The grief I cause –
Lonely, as I sit,
Alone, as I think.
Looking away
Thou does see,
The phantom light
Thou does create.
Whispered names
In my pockets,
- But they remain empty.
Lonely, as I wait,
Alone, as I think.
Shuttered blinds
Calmed behind,
The dilemma both ways,
- and yet it says:
Keep warm,
Walk your pathIf you think it’s right.
