Regardeless of what happens, I still love you more than ever before....I just wish I could say that to your face.....since I cant, I wrote the poem instead hoping one day you will come across it.
And the ammends I need to make are vast.
I want to say before my time is out,
That I am indeed very sorry
For the way things turned out between us.
It may not always have been your fault
And neither wholly mine...
But we let it come between us
Drive a wedge between us
Create a rift that cannot be crossed...
And just made us forget who we once were.
Let us not be cosumed, Daddy
By this bileful hate that is between us.
Let not what is in our present,
Destroy what existed before our existence.
To me, you still are my hero within.
For all the times you let me down,
I know I let you down more.
I am sorry Papa,
I love you more than anything...
I just hope you never lose sight of that.

A poem for my Father
There is but little time leftAnd the ammends I need to make are vast.
