this is another poem i have recently written, if you read the description of "Mirror". "Give up on me" is more of a song really, I was happy with it once i had finished.

Give up on me

So are they enough?
The scars across my skin
For a lifetime I have wiped your tears
And forgiven every sin

As the crimson stains fade away
As do the scars
The pain stays, real as always
As I cry under the stars...

So give up on me
Like all the rest
Promise that you'll stay
The when you cant cope
Give up hope
And strand me loveless..

Looking down on me, my angel
You laugh and point at me
The pathetic hold, onto tales untold
My lifes hilarity..

As the winter snow fades away
Your heart stays stone and cold
Please darling let us sail away
Into fairytales of old

So give up on me
Like all the rest
Promise that you'll stay
Then when you cant cope
Give up hope
And strand me loveless...

And strand me loveless...

wow just reread this. completely new meaning. it seemed like a new poem.

One of your lines you missed an "n" at the end of the word THEN.

I love this poem even more now.

It's great. I can completely relate. When you get so attached...you're so afraid they're gonna leave, you believe they will it's like 'JUST LEAVE ALREADY!'

ha it sucks ass when that happens.

One thing "And forgiven ever sin"

Every? or ever since? it seems a bit incomplete.
