Single Rose
One single rose sits in a vaseon the tabletop.
Lonely and cold the rose weeps
into the night.
Her petals slowly fall one by one
Her beauty once was of a million
now she sits and hides.
The petals become dry of age
and starts to blacken like the night.
Her tears fall with sorrows of loneliness
and grief of the petals she lost.
Many nights come and this single rose
falls from the loss of her beauty.
No more petals to fall one by one.
no more beauty to be won.
No more single rose to weep within the night.
Lost to the trash that was gone by
morning.
Replace by another rose who
shall weep of the petals that will
fall by morning light.
Her beauty will be lost of age
when her time is to go.
