I really do need that rest =P


Mind in turmoil

I sit here in the dark, my mind not willing to rest.
I think of the future, of what it will bring.
I wish for rest, for peace of mind.
I work and try, nothing I do is enough.

I sit wondering, would it be easier to give up?
Would someone fight my fights?
Would I be happy to sit idly, watching the world pass by?
Is surrender a choice?

No, I will fight! I wish to fight my battles.
I wish to fight for love, for everything important to me.
Who will be willing to give everything to someone unwilling to try?
Giving up is no choice, so I fight.

So tired, so hard. To fight is to live, to fight is to lose.
We strive for what we want, but is it what we need?
