worth the wait
if you abstain because you pleaseand my only chance has since bereft
then I'll stay here waiting on my knees
I'll be here in abeyance when this juncture has left
because windswept plains and alluring gold
sublime wonders around the world through
every fairy tale princess that time has told
still pales in comparison of the jewel that is you
every line that I've written, every song that I've sung
every beautiful thing I've said you remind me of
every benevolent word that's slipped off of my tongue
does not betray the depth of my love
I would halt the spinning wheels of fate
even if you never arrive, I'ts worth the wait
