Cherries in My Lemonade
Cherries in my lemonade
A glorious serenade
Of delights and might
I add the melon that I had 
Was never ever bad 
Just some seeds and
A bit of wayward rind.
But I am doing fine
Often sublime
In this festive party of sorts.
Add a few apple tortes
And I am full of glee
For you see I am in love
With a poetry man.
His words he commands
With such beauty. I suppose
He calls me Albany Rose
For he adores me.
And I find it rather neat
How he fills my heart with sweets
That come from his romantic pen.
He's the reason for my grin.
I write this of course
With inspiration as the source
And a muse upon my shoulder.
Oh, she grows bolder and bolder
In her eagerness to express
The pure blessedness of love.
