Heart is a Lonely Traveller
Heart is a lonely travellerGoing through the maze of life
Each day it meets a stranger
Each day a new strive...
The road is long, sometimes a storm,
Sometimes a sunny day
Sometimes a chilly frost sets in
Sometimes it's spring and gay
Sometimes the night is very dark
Sometimes the pain is very stark
Sometimes it sinks into deep quagmire
Of cavernous depression and anguished fire
Sometimes it rises to a blissful high
Rides on the crest of waves
Of love, passion, ecstasy and joy
The world comes alive with the sound of music-
Soul-stirring melody
Birds of peace come and rest,
Nest in its canopy
A garden full of flowers blooms
Fragrant, sunny in ecstasy
How it swells with inner pride,
Is akin to no other bliss
heart moves with rhythmic strides...
And, when the spring of love is over,
The summer of bloom is gone:
Hell fire rages deep within
Scorches every ear of corn-
So, lovingly nurtured within the bosom
without a bit of scorn-
Then chilly winter sets in the heart-
It is unbearable!
But soul longs for summer again-
It is incorrigible!
Heart is a lonely traveller
Going through the spring and storm
Through Night and Day
Through Dusk and Dawn...
Heart is a lonely traveller
Enriched along the way...
Unknown is the destination
Unknown is the way...
