when words are not on.

Love in limbo

Nothing

I have nothing
not a thing
to say, or tell
to ask, investigate
or question
I call because
my ears are now my fingertips
as you, all of you
is in my ear-piece
electronically present
soundly shaped.

I want nothing
not a thing
that you don't want
but more of what each wants
intimacy
togetherness
skin to skin
hair against hair
thigh between thigh
lips to lips
tongues wrapped into each other
fingers meshed.

So I call
although
there is nothing
not a thing
to be said
other than that
which our souls
knew to miss
within moments
of being apart

I hate to say, I told him so, but I did and am in complete agreeable compliment with the sentiments of your great poem. Gorgeous work, smiling in permanent Limbo it seems!lol
