Moonlit Pale

ice dagger dripping Night's blood

ruby kisses; perfection in a lower lip

tidal full flowering; such a dangerous smile

shakes worlds; just a twitch of the hip

a stitch of silver to close a seam in time

tattooed coverlets of satin dreaming

raven wing'd o'er wild Irish roses

briar dark splendours; a piercing glance

dancing across pale moonlit mist...
